What you really need to care about is air density. The boost control solenoid on the Ford Focus ST225 is located behind the turbo and is responsible for controling the turbo actuator through the variang stages of commanded boost. The boost gauge shoots up then down, up then down and literally throws you around in your seat. Did you make sure the o rings on the block plate weren't pinched when you put it on?
